CAPS = Character, Attitude, Personality, Spirit

I wrote this years ago when formulating a business I called The WhiteStones Foundation.

The WhiteStone Corporate Character, Attitude, Personality, and Spirit.
CAPS
Group psychology suggests that a corporation can and does have a collective character, attitude, personality, and spirit … in so far as such personification can be attributed to a business corporate entity. If the Corporate Leaders share a bad characteristic such as greed, then the corporate character will be greedy.

For this reason it is clear that the choices made, with regard to the CAPS of the individuals to be included in the formation of a company, is critical to assuring that the CAPS of the corporation is of a standard desired by the Founder/s.
Therefore the following is the standard CAPS desired in forming the WhiteStone Foundation.

1.     Patience and persistence are virtues desired in WhiteStones personnel.  Building the company will take time, and impatience will only provide opportunity to make huge mistakes.

2.     Kindness  is a duty of all personnel.

3.     Profit is for the needy.  Let no one be greedy.

4.     The corporate CAPS does not boast or brag.  Self aggrandizement is self delusion and ends in rash actions.

5.     It is not proud nor does it exhibit selfish pride.

6.     It is not rude or careless in speech or actions.

7.     The corporate CAPS is not self-seeking or self-centered. On the contrary, it has an outgoing concern for the welfare of others.

8.     It is not easily angered, or overly sensitive to slights or disrespect.

9.     It keeps no record of wrongs for later revenge or leveraging of power.

10.    The corporate CAPS delights in truth but recognizes that evil exists and it shuns it.

11.    It always extends protection to the innocent and the oppressed.

12.    The corporate CAPS, being trustworthy itself, always trusts.

13.    It always has hope because it is in the nature of the corporation to foster altruism which itself labors forward in hope.

14.    The corporate CAPS always seeks to preserve or save others from disaster.

And, when all these attributes combine, the corporate CAPS will not fail to exist as planned and will then willingly accomplish the goals it sets for itself which are in accord with these principles of the Altruistic Character, Attitude, Personality, and Spirit.

The Foregoing is presented as one description of the Chivalric Character, Attitude, Personality, and Spirit.
